The way the site works is simple. The winery puts it’s wine on the site (normally 12 bottle cases) with a starting bid price and you bid on the wine, much like other auction websites.  If your bid is successful the winery will send the case to your door. All you do is pay the winning bid price with a possible additional delivery charge (detailed on the product's page).  That's it.  What's more, other wine providers (including restaurants and wholesalers) can put wine on the site. There’s no restriction to lot sizes and a supplier can even just fix the price or even give you the option to buy now. Naked Wines provides a service, connecting wine producers with the public.

You can click on each entry from the home page, browse page or category selection to go to the product page. This will give all the details of the wine, including information about the seller. Once in the product page you can ask winemakers questions, see photos and even Youtube videos of the wines and its producer.

 The bidding process is exactly the same as other auction sites you may have used and we’ll email you confirmation of any bids you make. Once you’ve made a successful bid, you’ll be directed to pay using a credit card and the wine’s will be sent to your nominated delivery address. It’s that simple!
