Where it all started
The Naked Wines Wine Auction experience reaches back to the introduction of social media. Jayson Bryant, owner of The Wine Vault, played a major role in convincing Andy Goulden and George Wingrave to form a strategic partnership which will become the most successful wine auction business in the newly created marketplace.
With the advent of Social Media (SM) the three of them forged a great partnership and all have worked in the wine industry. We have all shared this passion and carefully thought out our value proposition. Our Proposition is delivering great wines at a price that you, the customer, are willing to pay.
Naked Wines aim has always been to bring the theatre back into the auction room, and we continue to change the face of wine auctions every year. We now have a platform for live online wine auctions. We have taken it out of the auction room, where it was beginning to get a little stuffy, and put the power of purchasing into the bidders hands.
Despite our rapid rise in the New Zealand wine auction market, and our great sense of humour, good looks and articulate nature, Naked Wines is still a family business at heart. What truly sets everything attached to the Naked Wines name apart - be it the retail store or the auction division - is our commitment to exceptional customer service.
